Description
OGYE + OXYTETRACYCLINE is an optimal medium for low protein foods where a low concentration of gram negative is assumed. The formulation stimulates growth by the presence of glucose and yeast extract, while oxytetracycicline inhibits the growth of gram negative bacteria, including lactobacilli. The formulation is in accordance with ISO 6611 for milk analysis. Previously OGYE Agar was in agreement with ISO 7954, canceled and replaced by ISO 21527-1 using the DRBC agar.
Add to the basic medium the supplement Oxytetracycline Supplement (76.025).
