Description
Campylobacter CCDA Agar (casein cefoperazone desoxycholate agar) is a medium recommended for the isolation of Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli and thermophilic campylobacter resistant to nalidixic acid (NARTC) from both clinical and food samples. The formulation, designed by Bolton et al., is in accordance with the ISO 10272 -1-2-3 standards for the count and the quantitative and semiquantitative determination of Campylobacter spp., validated by the British MAFF (Ministry of Agricolture, Fisheries and food).
The medium must be supplemented with Campylobacter Selective Supplement CCDA cod.76.204.
