Description
Campylobacter Karmali Agar is a medium recommended by the standards UNI EN ISO 10272- 1:2006 and ISTISAN 96/35 reports, for the isolation of Campylobacter jejuni and of Campylobacter coli from clinical specimens.
Some species, of the genus Campylobacter (gram-negative bacteria, of curved shape and movable to the presence of a polar flagellum), as Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli, that cause enteric diseases and extra-intestinal (endocarditis, arthritis and meningitis) in patients with deficit immune.
The medium must be supplemented with Campylobacter Karmali Selective Supplement cod. 76.205.
