Yersinia PBS Broth is recommended by the UNI EN ISO 10273:2017 standard for the detection of pathogenic Yersinia enterocolitis strains in food and water for human and animal use with "presence-absence test". The medium is indicated by the ISTISAN Reports 96/35 for the presumably pathogenic Y.enterocolitis research in foods.
