Description

XLD is a selective and differential media, recommended by UNI EN ISO 6579 standard for the isolation of Salmonella e Shigella in food samples or clinical specimens (stools or rectal swabs). The standard recommends XLD for primary isolation of Salmonella after pre-enrichment and selective enrichment in broth.
