Description

Trichomonas Broth is used for the selective enrichment, primary isolation and cultivation of Trichomonas vaginalis and yeasts isolated from urogenital specimens. The formulation of the medium also allows the selective enrichment of the primary isolation, limiting manipulations and trasferring the sample to be examined.

The protein base of the medium provides the source of carbon and amine nitrogen, while horse serum is a growth supplement.
