Description
Tetrathionate Broth is an enrichment medium, recommended for the selective isolation of Salmonella spp. (including S. Typhi) from faecal specimens. Tetrathionate Broth is formulated, according to APHA, AOAC, USP methods, APAT IRSA CNR 7080 (Salmonella detection from waste waters) and Quaderni 64-93 (Salmonella detection from sludge).
Add to the medium Iodine Iodide solution.
