Description
Azide Dextrose Broth is a selective medium for the isolation of faecal Streptococci in waters and foodstuffs that indicated faecal contamination. Furthermore, this medium is used for the bacterial count of faecal Streptococci in waters by the MPN method (Most Probable Number). Its formula conforms to WHO, APHA and from APAT CNR IRSA (Met 7040A).
