Description

Potato Dextrose Agar is a medium used for the isolation and quantification of yeasts and moulds in food products and other materials, such as pharmaceutical products, according to APHA requirements.

The medium is suitable for the cultivation of Aspergillus niger required by EP / USP / JP harmonized methods.

The agar used in Potato Dextrose Agar is carefully selected to ensure the production of the pigment of Fusarium genus.
