Description

Mueller Hinton Broth is a very nutritious medium, recommended for the isolation of Neisseriae spp. pathogens and in particular for antibiotic sensitivity tests (antibiogram). Mueller Hinton Broth is recommended by WHO for the antibiotic sensitivity test by determining the MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration) of serial dilutions of antimicrobials.

For the antibiogram of fastidious bacteria is recommended the addition of defibrinated blood to 5%.
