Description
Mueller Hinton Agar is recommended to isolate and grow Gonococci and Meningococci. It is used for testing of antibiotics (sensitivity test).
M.H. Agar is suggested by WHO for sensitivity tests on antibiotics with the agar diffusion method, according to Kirby Bauer. For the sensitivity test of fastidious bacteria, the adding of 5% defibrinated blood is suggested.
