Description

Motility Nitrate Medium is prepared in accordance with the formulation indicated by UNI EN ISO 7937 standard and ISTISAN reports 96/35, particularly indicated for the identification of C.perfringens and Enterobacteriaceae (all Enterobacteriaceae, reduce nitrates, except for certain species of Enterobacter agglomerans and Erwinia).

The medium is used for the motility test and the nitrate test (reduction from nitrates to nitrite), characteristics necessary for the identification of many microorganisms.
