Description

Mac Conkey Broth is a selective medium for the detection of coliforms bacteria in milk and water. Compliant with the harmonized USP / EP / JP 1.2.3. and/or pharmaceutical raw materials standard, it is used as a presumptive test for enterobacteriaceae for the detection of Escherichia coli. The formulation of the medium compared to the original broth, conceived by Mac Conkey, is modified.
