Description

Mac Conkey Agar with crystal violet is a moderately selective, differential medium for isolation of Enterobacteriaceae, gram negative bacteria correlated with clinical specimens and nutritional products. The medium composition complies with FDA (BAM:01), APHA and European Pharmacopoeia requirements. Enterobacteriaceae famiIy microorganisms can also be clearly identified in the presence of Salmonella and Shigella.
