Description

K.F. Streptococcus Agar is a selective medium recommended for the isolation and enumeration of faecal streptococci from mineral waters according to D.M. 13/01/1993 (filter membrane method), from food and clinical specimens, such as faeces and urine. This medium is prepared according to Kenner, Clark and Kabler formula.

TTC supplement added to the medium allows isolation and presumptive identification of faecal streptococci.
