GN HAJNA BROTH was formulated by Hajna as enrichment broth for the recovery of gram negative (GN), in particular salmonella and shigella from clinical specimens, such as feces, urine, blood clots and rectal swabs.

Numerous studies (Croft & Miller e Taylor e Schelhart) show the superiority of GN Hajna Broth recovery compared to Selenite Broth; In clinical samples, GN Hajna Broth is also recommended by APHA and USDA methods for micrpbiological examination of food.
