Description

M.S.R.V. (Modified Semisolid Rappaport Vassiliadis) MEDIUM BASE is a semi-solid selective medium, formulated in accordance with ISO 6579: 2017 and ISO 6579: 2017 / Amd.1:2020, used for the selective enrichment of Salmonella spp, in foods where it replaces the RAPPAPORT VASSILIADIS BROTH.

M.S.R.V. MEDIUM BASE is suitable for the isolation of Salmonella spp from animal faeces (cattle, pigs, poultry) and / or environmental samples (dust) associated with the primary stage of animal production which allows the isolation and identification of Salmonella from food products.
