Description

ALKALINE SALINE PEPTONE WATER (ASPW) is used as an enrichment medium for the research and isolation of Vibrio spp in particular of Vibrio parahemolyticus and Vibrio Cholerae from food, in accordance with the ISO / TS 21872: 2007 method. The high pH of this medium 8.6 inhibits the growth of many contaminating bacteria (enterobactericeae), while favoring the development of Vibrio spp.
