BLEB (Buffered Listeria Enrichement Broth) according to FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is used for selective enrichment of Listeria in milk, dairy products, meat, poultry and other food products. Medium has been formulated by Lovett et al. In 1985 for the selective enrichment of Listeria monocytogenes, from raw milk and pasteurized milk samples.
