Description

NUTRIENT BROTH N°3 is a medium that allows the cultivation of a wide variety of fastidious and non-fastidious pathogenic bacteria. Formulated in accordance with British Pharmacopeia is suitable for sterility tests for aerobic microorganisms. Nutrient Broth N°3 can be used as a base for the preparation of selective, enrichment or differential media with the addition of various components and/or supplements. It can be used routinely for examination, for food, for preparing stock cultures, for the preliminary cultivation of a sample to be subjected to subsequent bacteriological examinations and for the isolation of microorganims in pure culture. Growth is detectable with turbidity of the broth.
