CARY BLAIR MEDIUM is a medium for the transport of clinical samples (especially feces), intended for the research of gram negative and/or anaerobic bacteria. Formulated according to the studies of Cary and Blair; the medium is characterized by the low content of nutrients which together with the phosphate buffer prevents the uncontrolled proliferation of E. coli, Citrobacter freundii, Klebsiella aerogenes.
