Description

MLCB Agar (Mannitol Lysine Crystal Violet Brilliant Green Agar), formulated by Takao Inoue in 1968, is a selective medium indicated for the isolation of Salmonella from stools and/or foods. The medium does not allow the development of Salmonella typhi e Salmonella paratyphi A, for the presence of Brilliant Green.
