Desoxycholate Citrate Agar (Hynes), formulated by Leifson, is a weakly selective differential medium for the isolation of Gram negative enteric, especially Enterobacteriaceae, from clinical samples (faeces) and/or food (R. Istisan 96/35 Met 10).
