Description
Selective medium developed by Önöz and Hoffmann in 1977 that allows the best and most rapid recovery of salmonella in fecal samples compared to S.S. Agar and Leifson agar. It is used for the isolation of Salmonella in biological samples and food products. It offers the advantage of easily differentiating the contaminants Proteus and Citrobacter.
