Description

TAYLORELLA STREPTOMYCIN SELECTIVE MEDIUM is a differential and selective medium for the isolation of Taylorella equigenitalis and Taylorella asinigenitalis streptomycin resistant. The medium is formulated according to the O.I.E. 2018 - chapter 2.5.2 method and is characterized by a basic medium free of fermentable carbohydrates. Direct sowing of the Taylorella Streptomycin Selective Medium (O.I.E.) swabs allows to isolate biotypes resistant to streptomycin, to suppress the growth of many commensal bacteria and fungi that may be present in the sample.
