Description

LOEFFLER MEDIUM is a culture medium for the research and identification of bacteria of the genus Corynebacterium. The formulation is changed compared to the structure created by Loeffler (1887), to enhance the formation of metachromatic granulations inside the cells of organisms, allowing for the morphological characterization of the species under consideration.
