COOKED MEAT MEDIUM is a medium suitable for the growth of many microorganisms, including those with difficult growth, even when the bacterial load is very low. The medium is recommended by FDA and UNI EN ISO 7937:2005 (v08-019), for the research and enumeration of clostridium perfringens from foods.
