Selective supplement for the preparation of Legionella BMPA AGAR, for the cultivation and isolation of Legionella from clinical samples and environmental matrices, with a HIGH level of contamination.

The supplement is a variant of the MWY in which the cefalotin of the original supplement was replaced by cefamandole and the cycloheximide by natamycin (NOT DANGEROUS). Cefamandole with polymixin acts on the gram + and gram - bacteria, while natamycin carries out inhibitory  activities on yeasts and fungi.
