The medium is an excellent nutritional base for the growth of a wide range of organisms, including many fastidious species. Furthermore, the medium formulation complies with the requirement of the Pharmacopoeia and NCCLS, for the sterility testing of pharmaceutical products.

VEGETABLE PEPTONE AGAR is produced with totally vegetable peptone, obtained by enzymatic digestion of pea flour, using IP (Identy Preserved) raw material, as GMO – Free (Directive 2001/18/EC). Vegetable Peptone is classified animal-free, as no raw material, used for production, comes from animals or animal products.
