Description

VCC Selective Supplement is used for the preparation of the pre-enrichment broth for the recovery and isolation of E. Coli O157:H7 from food.

VCC Supplement, depending on the reference method and matrix analyzed, can be added to the medium Peptone Water Buffered ( cod. 70.126) according to CCFRA n.19 (Campden Chorleywood Food Research Ass) method for the isolation of E. Coli O157:H7 from minced meat samples, animal excrements or milk samples.

VCC supplement is also indicated by FDA/BAM/NMKL methods, for the medium m-TSB (Cod 70.709).
