Description

Nutrient Agar + NaCl can be used as a basis for the preparation of selective, enrichment or differentiating medium with the addition of various components. It is recommended by APHA in the bacteriological examination of water intended for human consumption, in pool waters and in treated waters and dialysate standard when it comes to water and dialysis solutions. In accordance with the European Pharmacopeia, the product is obtained from highly selected BSE-free raw materials.

The formulation of Nutrient Agar + NaCl, is also in accordance with standardized methods for water analysis: UNI EN ISO 16266:2008, UNI EN 12780:2002 and with the ISTISAN R. 07/05 ( Met. ISS A 003A rev. 00). It is a non-selective medium indicated for the isolation and cultivation of suspected colonies of Pseudomonadaceae, to be subjected to biochemical identification.
