Description

WORT AGAR is a medium commonly used for research and count of fungi, in particular yeasts in butter, syrups and especially in soft drinks.

The medium is particularly suitable for the development of yeasts and molds, as it contains a high concentration of maltose and other carbohydrates as energy sources.

The medium needs the addition of Bacteriological Glycerol (75.025).
