Description

Thioglycollate Medium USP with Resazurine is an universal enrichment medium, used for the cultivation of aerobic and anaerobic organisms, in the performance of sterility tests. Resazurine is a redox indicator: change to pink if it is oxidized, whereas it appears colorless if it is reduced. Thioglycollate medium USP is formulated according to the formula specified in the US Pharmacopoeia and it is also recommended by UNI EN ISO 7937 for C. Perfringens enumeration.
