Description

EC Agar MUG is a medium, prepared according to Hajna and Perry formula, for the cultivation and differentiation of coliforms at 37°C and E.coli at 45.5°C. The medium is reported by APHA in the "Standard Methods for the examination of water and wasterwater" for the detection of faecal coliforms in waters by the MPN method.
