Description

Water intended for human consumption are often sanitized and, therefore, contain traces of chlorine. Bottles/containers for sampling must contain sodium thiosulfate at a concentration suitable to inhibit the action of the disinfectant.

The presence of sodium thiosulfate, in the amount indicated, did not interfere with the results of the microbiological analysis do not having an effect on micro-organisms.
