• Columbia CNA Agar (can inhibit gram negative bacteria highlighting th gram positive cocci, staphylococci, enterococci and streptococci. The presence of sheep blood allows detection hemolytic capacity, important ones of stretococcus known as β, α, γ)
• Mac Conkey Agar (selective medium for the isolation and enumeration of enterobacteria)
• Sabouraud (+CAF+TTC) Agar (for the isolation of pathogenic fungi from clinical samples; it also allows the differentiation of Candida albicans)
• Rogosa Agar (facilitate the growth of heterofermentative lactobacilli)
• Gardnerella Vaginalis Agar (for the selective isolation of Gardnerella vaginalis)
• Thayer Martin Agar (particularly suitable for the isolation of Haemophilus e Neisseria)
