Linearcount 6 media kit contains:

• Blood Agar Columbia C.N.A (can inhibit gram negative bacteria highlighting th gram positive cocci, staphylococci, enterococci and streptococci. The presence of sheep blood allows detection hemolytic capacity, important ones of stretococcus known as β ,α, γ)
• Mac Conkey Agar (selective medium for the isolation and enumeration of enterobacteria)
• Sabouraud (+CAF+TTC) Agar (for the isolation of pathogenic fungi from clinical samples; it also allows the differentiation of Candida albicans) 
• Cetrimide Agar (Selective medium that allows the presumptive identification of Pseudomonas aeruginosa) 
• Chocolate Agar Vitex + Bacitracina (selective medium used for the isolation of haemophilus bacteria)
• Mannitol Salt Agar (to detect mannitol fermentation by Staphylococcus aureus)
