Description

Urea Solution 40%, added to the basic medium, highlights the ureasic activity of microorganisms. Degradation of urea release ammonia, which will turn phenol red from colorless to pink and followed by intense violet red. 

Add the supplement to the following media:

• Urea Broth Base cod. 70.203
