Description

Bolton broth is a selective medium for the enrichment of Campylobacter spp. in food samples. It is formulated according to UNI EN ISO 10272-1:2006 ed NMKL 119 Rev 1 methods.

The selectivity of the medium is determined by Campylobacter Selective Supplement Mod., which contains the active antibiotics on microbial contaminant flora: Vancomycin inhibits gram positive, Cefoperazone inhibits gram negative, Amphotericin B inhibits yeasts and Trimethoprim is an antibiotic acts on the positive and negative grams.
