Description

Selective supplement for the isolation of Clostridium difficile, to be added to Clostridium Difficile Agar Base (Cod. 70.047).

The supplement selectivity is exemplified by selective agents such as D-Cycloserine and Cefoxitin which inhibit the development of the most common enterobacteriaceae, faecal Streptococcus, Staphylococci and Clostrides, while allowing the development of Clostridium Difficile.
