Description

Bile Esculin Azide Broth is a selective liquid medium selective recommended for the identification of group D Streptococci and enterococci. The medium is made selective by bile salts, which inhibits gram-positive microorganisms (different from group D Streptococci) and sodium azide, which inhibits gram negative.
