Description

LPT BROTH is a selective enrichment broth, for the research and insulation of listeria Monocytogenes and listeria spp. from ready-to-eat meat, poultry, siluriformes (catfish), products based on eggs and environmental samples (surfaces and cooling water solutions of Surface rinse such as water solutions, brine and propylent glycol). LPT BROTH is formulated in accordance with the USDA method-FSIS MLG 8.15, which in the 2024 review introduces it to replace the previous UVM and Mops-Barb broths. This change reduces the enrichment process to a single step instead of having a process of primary and secondary enrichment in two phases, significantly reducing analysis times.
